"I booked an early table for 6.15, but had walked past earlier and seen the restaurant full now I know why! Excellent ambiance, superb food which was well presented and exemplary service by cheerful staff (think First Dates Restaurant). Lovely atmosphere, great menu range and priced really well. "While prices have increased a bit since my last visit, the service and quality at this restaurant are still top-notch. The attentive and friendly staff does a great job of serving without intruding on your meal. Despite some noisy patrons at a nearby table, we were able to enjoy our drinks outdoors at one of the private tables due to the lovely evening weather."

"We booked a table for 4 (2 adults and 2 children) for a birthday meal, and have to say it was one of the best meals we have ever had. From the moment we arrived we were warmly welcomed and taken straight to our table. Service was impeccable, attentive but not overly intrusive. Orders were taken promptly and drinks arrived very quickly, with a superb bottle of Malbec for the adults. Starters came soon after, which were delicious bbq ribs, bbq wings, king prawns and garlic mushrooms, all got polished off. Mains came soon after starters were cleared, rib eye steak, black Angus fillet steak, fillet steak on hot stone and veggie burger. All were cooked to perfection, were possibly the best steaks we've ever had and were finished off completely, even though the steaks were considerable in size, the children couldn't get enough of theirs and ate the lot. 2 puddings for the children, and a post dinner cocktail for one of the adults. Lovely and helpful waiting staff, cosy and warm ambience made it very special. Will definitely be back. Thank you"

"We made a reservation for 7:30 pm and ordered drinks before placing our meal orders. We were extremely disappointed by how long it took for our meals to be served - a 45-minute wait. As we waited, we saw other customers arriving and quickly receiving their meals. We should have left instead of just sitting there. I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone unless you enjoy waiting for a long time. In response to their feedback on how they can improve, my suggestion would be to either shut down or hire a new chef."

"The booking at the Eden Restaurant was to celebrate my wife's birthday that day. After being seated we were completely ignored by waiting staff which resulted in me having to go to the bar not once but twice to ask for a drinks order to be taken. It was waiting service only. Later, when a waiter came to take our drinks and food order we questioned the fact that the menu differed from that which was shown on the internet in that a choice of sea bass or salmon was available on the that menu but not on the menu before us. The waiter said that there was no fish available that evening. I remonstrated with him because we specifically booked the restaurant on this occasion because of its fish options as neither one of us eat meat products. The waiter said he would go to the kitchen to make sure his information was correct. As it was an open kitchen we could see that the waiter was in deep conversation for some time with the chefs. He returned and said they could find one piece of salmon and one piece of halibut. As there were three of us we had no option but to abandon our night out at the Eden and leave the restaurant without having a meal. The waiter apologised profusely saying he was having all sorts of problems with the way the restaurant is being run not only that evening but previously. To make matters worse, it was impossible to talk to anyone by telephone at the restaurant that day or previously, to either make a booking or receive basic information, as several attempted phone calls always ended up the same way, in an answering machine advising you to book a table on line. There was no excuse whatsoever for the mismanagement and the fact that no-one in a senior position came to speak to us says it all. In my opinion your company should review its association with the Eden Restaurant"

"Dinner was OK, nothing very special, would have expected especially on Easter Sunday. We had to move tables, as we were sitting at the wrong beginning. The bistro was badly designed to go through other rooms to get to the Carvery itself and the decor of the venue is long overdue a revamp. Unfortunately, I wouldn't be back in a hurry."
