"Lovely pub, lots of character, nice seating to differentiate between pub and more dining style. Friendly service and my biggest A* for being Dog friendly. I ordered the chicken wings with blue cheese sauce, pork croquettes which were stunning and the Ribs with Mash instead of fries. I can concur that the mash was *actually* made from potatoes and not a powder form like most pubs these days do so THANK YOU chefs for going out of your way to do this. Brilliant ribs lovely flavours and in all honesty that plum coleslaw could be easily served as a main dish alongside some protein! Really lovely. Sausage and mash brilliant also! Cannot fault.
