"We had an early dinner in Pichet yesterday evening, it was fabulous. We were seated in the front part of the restaurant near the bar, there was lots going on. Hugh had the short rib starter with pasta, it was delicious, I had cod and chorizo balls on a jalapeño mayo and fennel with orange. For main we had the halibut with a curry sauce,and parsnips, I had the vegetarian which was gnocchi with a crisp egg, we had a side of roasted cauliflower, on a bed of cauli mash and covered with miso hazelnuts. I could have had that for my dinner. Dessert was 2 warm chocolate mousse, with ice cream. We had a glass each of Cremant, a nice bottle of red. The staff were charming and attentive."
