"We had an overall good Sunday roast experience. For starters the pig’s head terrine and piccalilli were excellent but the scallops ceviche was a joke, no seasoning and presentation was poor, a handful of gems lettuce sprinkled with two(? thin sliced scallops, avoid that at all cost especially the £17.50 we were charged for. The Angus beef roast was delicious, very well cooked and tender. Trimmings were nice especially the green beans and gravy. I asked for more gravy unfortunately it came 10mins later and was cold. Dessert was succulent, crepes Suzette were perfect! The service was very pleasant especially the host at the front desk! Merci beaucoup!! All in all I will come back."

"I guess I was thrown because I got what I didn't expect. So I was embarrassed in front of my guests by that. I should have researched it better I used to go on and off over a number of years but it had changed out of recognition. Used to be sophisticated casual with classy food. I recall it as buzzy and lively without the excessive noise and boom boom boom of a bass line from music downstairs and the young and beautiful draping themselves loudly around tables. Now it’s that rather corny attempt to jazz up pizzas etc with unusual toppings That said. The food was delicious. As a party of four we shared several very interesting starters. Then very well cooked unusually topped pizzas. Service was adequate but dull and dour. A rather tired waitress. But adequate. Overall by all means go there to enjoy the thriving trendy folk of Pimlico but not if you valued the more sophisticated food and smart casual feel before it was “improved”. Noisy."

"had an 8:45 dinner reservation for 2 and called to say we were late. the host said no problem at the last dinner was at 21:00. at 20:55 a.m. when I was waiting for my friend to arrive waiter, I was rude to inform myself that I was supposed to place order immediately because kitchen would close soon. we set order, eating came what was in order. at 10:30 a.m. they seemed to push people from the restaurant."

"--- I recently had the best fish and chips I've experienced in London at the Builders Arms, a delightful gastrobar located in a slightly inconvenient spot in Chelsea, seemingly away from the bustling streets. However, it was bustling with lively locals. The interior features high ceilings and inviting, colorful sofas that create a warm atmosphere. We started with the seafood sharing plate, and I must say, the oyster butter was the best I've ever tasted. The garlic clams were equally divine. Unfortunately, the spider crabs were a bit too fishy and didn’t quite match the overall excellence of the seafood platter. Then the fish and chips arrived, and they were simply perfect. The batter was crisp, the seasoning was excellent, and the fish was incredibly fresh and juicy. I thoroughly enjoyed every bite. The chips were great, accompanied by a smooth tartar sauce and rich mushy peas that rounded out the dish beautifully. I can never resist dessert when I have fish, and the chocolate cake did not disappoint. It was a delicious, traditional British treat in a polite yet unpretentious setting.
