"Blackwoods is the hotel restaurant at the Nira Caledonia, where we happened to be staying for a night, so we ate there almost by chance. Two of the four of us were vegetarians, so that sets a high bar, but the food was excellent. A few bites into my main course, which was a citron salmon dish, I found myself thinking, This is the best meal I 've had in a long time. The starters, the mains, and the desserts—we had banoffee were all scrumptious. And my friend loved their special scotch. This is a place to go for a special occasion: you won 't be disappointed!"
