"we had a great lunch yesterday. we both had chili with nachos and salat then beere eton mess for desert. easy eating maybe but can be so easy to get it wrong. I never had a bad meal here. I was often both midday and evening and always enjoyed eating and ambiente. the staff is really friendly and eating is always beautiful. it won't take long until we get back."

"Had a meal for 15 booked here for a double 70th celebration on a Sunday. The staff were welcoming and attentive and even gave the birthday pair complementary Prosecco on their arrival which was a lovely added touch. The food came out seamlessly and still hot considering the size of the party. The food was delicious, beef cooked to perfection and everyone enjoyed their meal. Portion sizes were generous, even the children’s roast! Excellent value for money and would highly recommend for a country pub vibe with lovely food."
