"I walked into the restaurant and ordered a chicken-only meal, but my order was placed at the back of the queue. The staff prioritized a JustEat order over mine, even though the JustEat order was still being prepared. The young man serving me seemed disorganized and uninterested in his job. When I asked why he couldn't just quickly give me my order before attending to the JustEat order, he insisted that the JustEat order was a priority. Despite this, the JustEat order was still not ready when he handed me my food. He explained that he had to pack my coleslaw separately, turning a two-minute order into a ten-minute wait. I wish they had informed me about the wait time when I arrived, as other similar establishments have done in the past. Even though it's just a Chicken Cottage, I believe some level of customer service should be expected for repeat business. It was only after searching for their address that I discovered they had received a '2' out of 5 Food Hygiene rating in 2019."
