"Food was excellent and well priced. I had no complaints at all and was discussing returning for more soon. That was until it came to paying. Our bill was cheap, 31.50 for two of us and we were nice and full. I asked to pay by card and asked to put the payment up to 35 to give a tip. The waiter looked at me and said, “Haven’t you just got cash for the tip?” I replied that I rarely carry cash and would like to just add the amount onto the card payment. I then entered the 3.50 into the gratuity section and proceeded to pay. I went to hand the device back and it was snatched from my hand to where I almost accidently pulled my card out of it. I was then told “I don’t get those tips, I can only keep tips in cash”. All of this was done in an incredibly rude manner. I paid a tip after all, and I now wish I hadn’t. I won’t be going back if that is the attitude you have towards well meaning customers. It’s a shame because we really enjoyed the food and the experience right up until the very last interaction.
