"How difficult is it to make a good plate of fish n chips, particularly if you do it day in, day out. Clearly it’s not as easy as I thought. The cod chips and haddock were not quite as expected. The cod had soggy, greasy batter. The haddock batter was a bit crisper but loaded with grease and running into the polystyrene container. The chips were like small end cuts and wrinkly and tuff, possibly reheated from lunch time. The guy serving me was smiling, polite and friendly, hence the additional stars. His assistant doing the cooking possibly needs more training or more practice."
