"Every time we visit Glasgow from Edinburgh, we always make sure to stop by Firewater and recommend it to our friends. However, during our most recent visit on a Thursday, we arrived at 4:50 PM only to be told by one bouncer to come back in 10 minutes before we could enter. When we returned at 8:00 PM, a different bouncer informed us that we couldn't enter because it was a "student night." Despite being a regular attendee for gigs in the area, I have been allowed entry on Thursdays before. As someone in the hospitality industry myself, I understand that adults should still be able to enter a venue, even if it is designated as a "student night." Disappointing experience with the bouncers and their strict rules."
