"We have been regulars to the mevan since it opened in Leighton and when lockdown happened we missed our favourite Turkish restaurant, as we had many family parties there and we were always treated like royalty by the owners.Then we see that if was being refurbished and found out it was under new ownership we couldn’t wait to see and see if the food was still amazing and hoping to see if the old staff had been retained.We were not disappointed, great refurb and as we walked in there was a new greeter and then the old manager came and gave us a big hug and the best barman in town was still there.We were sat down and it was like we were at home with complimentary shot and nothing was a problem.It was was great to see the restaurant packed and atmosphere great and being treated the same by the new and old staff. The menu had changed slightly and prices had been increased, but this would be expected but the service and food was still amazing if not better.Fully recommend the new look food and restaurant And Alex is the best shot maker and the staff are awesome.See you soon guys and ladies."

"Came in for dinner and drinks this Sunday evening with friends, really nice pub and nice atmosphere! Was a fun evening and we were informed of the new addition of the dart board and also had a go at the charity game balancing a a lemon! Friendly welcoming staff and nice food! "We booked the upper floor space for our daughter's 21st family birthday party and had a fantastic evening. The room was beautiful and we would like to thank John Phelan and his team for their help and support in making the party a success. The functional space is amazing, in a great location with a private bar. The staff were attentive and the buffet was good and affordable. "The pub is lovely with good COVID regulations in place. Our waiter, Simon, was amazing - he had great knowledge of the menu and made excellent suggestions when asked. I highly recommend this place for a drink. Additionally, they have screens, making it the perfect spot for sports fans."

"I stayed here at the two weeks ago with my husband for my sixtieth birthday. Our room was upgraded because it was a special birthday and there was a bottle of Prosecco waiting for me . The room was lovely , the staff very friendly. The hotel is very well situated in Eton . I realised I’d left items in the room when I got home . I phoned the hotel and they kindly sent them to me. I would highly recommend this hotel . Rooms: Clean and comfortable. Walkability: Very close to the Thames and Windsor Castle"
