"I was really disappointed with my experience at Subway Southgate Street, especially since I usually have a great time at Subway. This location did not handle allergy cross-contamination properly. After ordering a fully vegan sub, I requested vegan garlic aioli, but instead, the employee poured regular mayo on it, despite another staff member indicating it was the wrong sauce. While I understand that miscommunications can occur, the employee didn’t offer to remove the contaminated parts of the sub or replace it entirely. I had to ask them to take off the non-vegan ingredients, which they initially removed but then put back in when wrapping it up. As a result, I ended up with a sandwich that wasn’t vegan, and there were no apologies or customer service—it felt like they didn’t care about the cross-contamination issues.
