"The customer service was terrible! Mr. Singh and his staff were more like Humpty Dumpty and a group of unhelpful street kids. I would recommend avoiding this restaurant."

"If you like Sugar and salt this is the place for you. Tried a few dishes, all cream sauces taste the same and loaded with sugar. Pakora loaded with salt. Shame this place has declined, their curry sauce used to be the best years ago under the hotel, now everything is loaded with sugar and salt. Hope this place gets its self back to the good old days. Also they own the carry out at Hardgate cross besotted McHughs Estate agents, there are much better places like Rajani in Bearsden who deliver and don’t do re-heats even with the starters. They also don’t use colouring and their prawns are much larger. Hope the Bombay sort themselves out and get back to the good old days and cut back on colouring and additive’s and sugar salt. Fresh and no more reheats will get you back to the best in Clydebank. Please do it !!"

"We first visited Raja's a few years ago when we wanted a non halal Indian restaurant. We weren't disappointed and until Covid reached our shores, we were frequent visitors. Gorgeous food, cosy and friendly atmosphere and attentive staff. Unfortunately, when we enquired about it still being non halal last night, we were disappointed to hear it wasn't the case now. So disappointed as it was the only one in Leeds."

"My two friends and I visited Nimboo on a Friday night. The restaurant was only half full, so we were seated next to a wall. I placed my soft leather handbag on the floor next to my chair and ordered the fish curry, which unfortunately was disappointing. The dish resembled a thick tomato soup with small bits of fish. When I picked up my bag, I discovered it was wet and the leather had become soft like a sponge, ruining it. There was a leak next to me, so I informed the waitress who seemed unsure of the issue. The waiter brought a folded tablecloth to soak up the water, but did not address my damaged bag. As I walked to the bathroom, I noticed cartons on the floor to absorb the leaking water. I was puzzled as to why we were seated at that table when they were aware of the leak. I have no plans to return to Nimboo after this experience."

"Called in recently after a few years away. I'll be kind and review the meal as OK. Nothing terrible, but perhaps not what it used to be. The point of my review is because no-one on here is mentioning that the restaurant does not serve alcohol. There was no signage outside, on the door, when you arrive or when you're given the menu. There is an off-licence a few doors down, but that's not the point. You may not be concerned about this, but for some people it's a part of the meal (and a pretty good revenue stream for the business so perhaps this is a religious thing? Now you know."

"- The service was good, and the ambiance had a pleasant saffron orange hue. - They offer beer on tap and a decent variety of Indian street foods. - The chicken and lamb curry were satisfactory in taste. - Overall, it was a nice dining experience."

"Overall comments: This place was part of our Anonymous dinner rota. We were quite happy during eating and on the day, but the next few days were rough as 3/4 of us were ill. I wouldn’t go again even though the food tasted nice. Go at your own risk as it is good value for money if you can stomach food made in an unclean environment. My order was as follows: Starter(s): Veg Samosa, Hara Kebab, Aloo Tikki Chaat, Chicken Tikka, Side(s): Plain Naan. Food: All the dishes were good and I thought we found a gem. However, 3 of the 4 of us were ill for a few days after. Atmosphere: Music was at a varying loudness. The Seating was not comfy at all. The interior was decent but nothing special. Service: Service was poor. We had to ask for water multiple times and the waiter assigned to our table just didn’t want to listen to us when we asked for things or tried to get his attention. The other waiter was very good when we asked him for assistance. The food arrived at a good speed to the table. Cost: Mid-range and only worth it if your stomach can handle food made in a bad environment."

"I took my mother to the Two Sisters restaurant for her birthday last Sunday. We were immediately greeted and informed about the brunch options (i.e. buffet versus brunch specials and other adjustments, such as turkey bacon instead of pork). I think this is a great place for a relaxed brunch and definitely for a mother-daughter date. We loved the food and the service. We drove to a Groupon and will definitely drive again without the Groupon. Worth it."

"Delicious Indian food, large selection and good portion sizes. I especially enjoyed the Momos. The service was super friendly, professional and quick. The place is not that large and was packed on our visit, so it was a bit loud and cramped."

"Where to start? From the moment we walked in the staff were friendly and welcoming and the place was 100% full. We chanced not booking on a Saturday night and got lucky in a table for 2 by the door. The waitress welcomed us and talked me through our options as I have allergies as well as being vegan. We chose a pickle and popadom tray to share and when it came they positioned the dairy at one side so my partner none vegan could eat his and had it in order of spicyness as he doesn’t like things hot. When it came to the mains we went for the thalis one vegan and one meat and wow!!! It is so nice to be able to get a selection of mini mains rather than ordering one huge portion. They came with rice, roti, pickles and salad and presentation cannot be faulted. We both had empty plates it was so tasty. See photos for details The staff talked us through our choices and it is so nice not to be stuck with only having that one choice. Seriously if you’re visiting Brighton you have to eat here. But book a table as it gets very busy for now obvious reasons. 10/10. Highly recommend. Full belly and happy heart. Would give 5 stars but it’s not fully vegan. "This is probably the best dessert shop in the Midlands. The food is always delicious and fresh. The place is always clean and the desserts are beautifully displayed. The samosas are amazing, especially with the chutney."
