"Brilliant. Was up in Aberdeen, from a bit down to coast, for a hospital visit. Timed it so we could get a takeaway in the 'toon ' before heading back home with it. Did a Google search for decent curry houses in the area and came up with this place. So, first time there for us. Called from the hospital grounds at just after 4pm and was told the food would be ready in about half an hour. We headed up there, arriving a wee bit early but our order was ready. Got it back home and boy it was fantastic. Lamb Seekh Kebab and vegetarian platter (for the wife) and both were great. I then had the Prawn Bombay Flame and Keema Rice and she had Prawn Dhansak with Pilau Rice. Add a Tarka Dhall on the side and Keema and Cheese Naans, popadoms and dips etc and things were complete. The quality of the food was just fantastic and the prawns were some of the best I 've ever had in a curry. Helpings were abundant as well. I cannot fault this place. Friendly staff too and clean and tidy wee shop. This may have been our first takeaway from here but rest assured it will not be our last. Brilliant!!!! Cheers!!!"

"I have been a big fan of the Red Tiffin for a while now. It is the best South Asian takeaway in the area with a good selection of meat-free options. However, I have had some mixed experiences with the staff at the counter. One of them is incredibly friendly and sweet, but there is another guy who can be quite rude. Unfortunately, his attitude has made me hesitant to order from here. It's a shame because other than that, I have had no other issues with this place."

"Won’t be getting anything from here again everything was over cooked and the curry didn’t have a single tomato in it when it was supposed to be a Bhoonah curry my old favourite shop delivers to this area so going to get my Indian curries delivered from there every time"

"Have eaten here befiore and it has been much better. Food was OK but one of the dishes was very bland. We had booked in advance at 8pm. It was a busy Saturday night and the service was somewhat strange all night starting with the waiter bringing a single starter. We asked if the others were coming and he rather abruptly said yes. The others then followed a bit strange but ok. The worst was when at 9:10 we were asked if we would leave the table. We still had half of our drinks left and had only just finished eating, 70 minutes after the booking time hardly an age? I feel they were being gready and putting profit before serving the customers already in the restaurant. Maybe the new restaurant was a step too far and they are struggling for staff but I really felt there had to be a manager there with the correct attitude. They all seemed a bit undertrained and all over the place to be honest which is not great as it is not cheap. Won't be going back for a while at least."

"we had traveled from Australia to do the north coast 500 and spent a night in edinburgh. after a long day of traveling and sightseeing we needed an Indian experience and stumbled over ronaq on craigleith rd near where we were. we have tried an Indian in every city we traveled to, and no one is close to this. the best Indian we have experienced in our travels and in our home country. they make one fall and do not look for something better. they will not find it. ask also for benny and get the best service with an end after dinner mint with their bill. brilliant. many thanks. 12/10 review by us."

"I absolutely love this, I tried both the main dinner menu and the buffet lunch and both were amazing. the Italian and Indian food is really authentic, the personal is beautiful and the chefs really know what they do. the decor inside is beautiful lush fabrics and a warm comfortable environment. the buffet every day is a fantastic place to take a fast business meeting and fast lunch and the weekend is perfect for a family day. so far I was only for work in mumbai milano, but I am very pleased to visit her Sunday bread buffet with my family. all in all I am quite impressed by this place and look forward to going back!"

"eating is very good. there was a period in late '11 and early '12 with another cook when it was 't good, so ignore reviews from then. huge and faithfully take away clothes eating in has become a bit a sideline. the staff is a bit cold and detached, but eating it makes it. we eat there about once a month and often bring visitors who all rave over eating. average £15 to £20 per head, depending on how much they drink. try the garlauch chili chicken fantastic."

"This was my first time visiting this restaurant, but it definitely won't be my last. A friend recommended it to me and I had an excellent dining experience. The food was delicious, with a wide selection on the menu to choose from. The drinks list was impressive, the decor was beautiful, and the staff were attentive. The restaurant manager was very pleasant, and as we were celebrating my friend's belated birthday, he surprised us with a complimentary glass of prosecco and a cake with a sparkler - a really nice touch. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant and absolutely loved it."

"I would like to start off my review with praise for the staff and the decor of the establishment. I absolutely loved the unique decoration of the inside of the restaurant, from the strobes of multicoloured lights, the glass mosaics and drawings and the Afghan Styled (as I had been informed) seating in the lower end of the restaurant, which was not made for our family style but we are very sure is much appreciated by those who do use it. The staff was very helpful for my visit, I would like to thank the waiters and the hosts who were always alert for their kind hospitality, as well as the chef 's for their nice food. in my most humble opinion, the food was very good, though could be improved. "I and my fiancé trusted deepali with their input to ideas for the design and taste of our engagement cake. it is very knowledgeable and very trustworthy. next to the cake design amazing, the taste was so beautiful and the texture was moist. "Love Delhi Grill to bits me and my Wife often go here over larger less personal curry vendors like Dishoom Hoppers as we find the food more authentic and much better value. The ambience is also perfect service usually prompt and courteous. However on our latest visit we had a table booked at 9.30pm and we were greeted with 'we close at 10.15 ', not a problem we wanted a quick fix curry and as always it was great, unfortunately the host was very brusque with us about exit time and when we asked for the bill and a Whisky we were refused the Whisky as last orders had gone? Not sure what the licensing is but 10pm last orders is a bit harsh. We will be back but just thought good to let you know regulars like us like a little bit extra for our loyalty ;"
