"Well, I was staying away from home due to work and found this Indian restaurant (I do love Curries so looked out for one). Yes, the girl taking orders (I presume the owner's daughter) was friendly and very helpful, and the service was quick, probably...because there weren't many people in there, but that did surprise me because it was Saturday night. Upon arrival, I sat down and disappeared into the chair (no springs moved to another seat only slightly better. Had poppadoms, tasted awful but they came out after around seconds so maybe they were yesterday's? Chutney, mint yogurt etc were the worst I've had, very bland, even the onion was watery and tasteless. I wondered how good the main would be. Omg, I hate to say this but it was honestly the worst curry I have ever tasted and I was very disappointed. As other reviews have said, it was dry chewy chicken chunks in a paste. I ate half of it and just wanted to get out of there in the end, got the bill then suddenly they had a power cut! Lights kept flashing on and off as the owner repeatedly kept resetting the breaker which just kept tripping out. The card reader for payment stopped working so I was stuck. After mins the owner brought out candles! Somebody in the restaurant offered to help the owner, and after mins got the lights on. (I hope he was rewarded with a discount but I doubt it very much I eventually paid but they wanted the itemised receipt they gave me after I paid, but I needed it for work, but eventually sorted it (they let me have the last cm of the receipt I left the run down front porch area with two doors, couldn't close the first door, it wouldn't shut. Then the owner just slammed it behind me and it shut, which I thought was a bit rude as I was still there in the porch looking at him! I went through the second door onto the street and the door handle came off in my hand along with that long rod bit as well. Then the Indian owner came running out and took it from me. I couldn't stop laughing all the way home. Will I go back? Absolutely not!"

"So I requested a table for 3, waiting for my daughter and friend to join me. The girls arrived 25 minutes later, i still hadnt been offered a drink. We ordered and service was fairly swift, 20 minutes. My daughter had the carbonara. It was in an oily sauce, nothing like the creamy sauce we've had previously. The meat was chewy and not very nice at all. There was no lasagne available in this restaurant, so the friend ordered a pizza which, to be fair, was ok. The waiter was rude and looked annoyed that I double checked he'd written down decaf coffee, I was then bought a standard coffee. The waitress was lovely though. We won't be returning, there are plenty of restaurants in Peterborough with far superior food and more importantly, far more polite staff."

"We both went for the beef and bird. The chicken was a bit overdone on the outside but the steak was perfect. You don't get veg apart from the mash so you might want to order those. Dessert was ok. I got pavlova (it was covered in defrosted frozen berries) and my other half got the cheesecake. Wine was just left on the table we weren't given the opportunity to taste it first. It was our anniversary and the waiter brought us a complimentary glass of prosecco each. A nice touch."

"We had a pleasant dining experience at this restaurant, with options suitable for both vegans and omnivores. Although the menu was limited, there were still choices available. Unfortunately, there were no desserts listed, though it's possible they may offer a vanilla ice cream option. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The vegan mushroom Wellington was delicious and cooked perfectly, though it may have been slightly salty, perhaps due to the rich gravy served with it. "Overall a good experience . We had a meal with friends over from Switzerland. Excellent atmosphere low noise levels so conversations were good. Good was excellent bar the paella . We sat down at 6pm and the seafood paella had already run out so we opted for the chicken . It was very salty . The rest of the food was excellent. Service was brilliant except they got our dessert order wrong which resulted in one of our party waiting for their dessert to arrive. The waiter apologised and apart from that one mistake he was pleasant,efficient and attentive."

"The dining experience was very good, with a pleasant atmosphere. However, it is a bit pricey, and I noticed that many young patrons were not wearing masks, which is disappointing as it shows a lack of consideration for safety. I would recommend that management take this into account, as COVID is still a concern for many people and may be for some time. "I Loved this place! We arrived a little early for cocktails at the bar i had a Flat white martini something you must try if you like an espresso martini, well this is better! The service was fantastic and attentive. We shared a selection of Tapas as a group of four people to start with and it was amazing we just wanted more however the waiter was very good at helping us order as we had never been before, he suggested we share starters as we were wanting paella also. Good thing we did! The waiter suggested we ordered 1 paella per couple as it is a sharing dish. Wow amazing! They brought out 2 massive hot dishes of paella on a stand beside the table and the waiter served your 1st portion! We ordered one chicken and one sea food paella which was delicious ! we also ordered 1 bottle of wine for the table to go with the paella which was lovely also and i am not the biggest fan of wine but that was perfect to go with what we had to eat. Cannot wait to go back hopefully it will be soon as writing this has made me hungry haha."

"I have been going to this restaurant for years for special occasions, and it has always been fantastic. However, on my last visit for a first date, things went completely wrong. We ordered two different steak meals, each with a different cooking style and sauce. When the meals arrived, they had the wrong sauces and were cooked incorrectly. I spoke to the manager about the issue, but it led to an awkward situation. I asked for the meals to be prepared correctly, but was told that mine would then be cold. Instead of replacing the meals, we ended up accepting what we were given. This disastrous experience ruined my first date and I ended up paying over £89 for it. It was definitely not a Marc Pierre moment. Since then, I have taken my business elsewhere. It's unfortunate, as I used to really enjoy this restaurant before this incident."

"This nicely set out restaurant with its Spanish traditional food is a gem. We enjoyed the seasonal food and the menu choice was great. We had 6 small plates/tapas between us and can recommend them all, one was so good we had a repeat plate! We finished the meal with traditional Spanish puddings and a selection of cheeses. Some of our family had been here before and had recommended it, and it was great! Nice atmosphere in the restaurant. Convenient for rail and tube connections."

"I ordered a few pizzas from this place. The quality of the pizzas keep going down hill. Im a regualar, have ordered here for yesrs, so they have made good buisness frome me and my family ,however i have had on going problems with them giving me the wrong dip. I called up and said i got the wrong dips , and she refused to offer me a refund on my next order (of just over two pounds! and bascially said that they were not wrong, basicalully calling me a lier. I had all my family try it and they all said it was not right. It had no rosemary in it and as im a regular i order this dip all the time me and my family know how the dip tastes like. I even invited my neighbour road and she was like 'juke what is that! That is not garlic rosemary! ' A couple of quid they could have refunded me or they could have said we will put in two free dips on your next order, knowing im a regular customer, but they instead would rathrt loose a regular customer, and get bad reveiws all for just 2 quid! They have terrible customer service, the customer is always right espcially for just 2 pounds!! The pizza quality has gone down and i think this has been the last draw for me!!!"
