When I went to check in, there was no reservation under my name, despite having an email confirmation with the date and time of my booking. They explained that it hadn’t been entered into their system, so there is definitely room for improvement in their organization. Fortunately, the restaurant was completely empty, and they were able to accommodate us. I can’t help but wonder what they would have done if they had been fully booked—would they have turned us away? I certainly hope not, as this was an error on their part.
Once we settled in, we enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea with Prosecco, which was definitely worth the money. While I know this isn’t the hotel's fault, I would have appreciated a few more guests to create a livelier atmosphere, as it was just the two of us in a completely empty room."
