"The waiters were not friendly at all, they had no personality and weren't keen on assisting us. Getting drinks and ordering was fine but it took 40 minutes to get our starters, a salad, paté and bread selection. Unless they were making the bread from scratch I don't know why it took so long to come. We only got our starters because we had to ask where our food was. We even heard another table complaining about the wait for their food. We didn't get offered more drinks even though we were sitting there with empty glasses. They eventually brought our mains over but they hadn't taken any of our starter plates away so there was no where for them to put the food on our table. The paté was nice but the rest of the food was average which was disappointing considering their price point and Marriott affiliation. The restaurant was less than half full but for some reason the waitress thought her time was better spent clearing empty tables and straightening chairs than taking away our empty starter plates, seeing if we wanted more drinks and clearing away empty glasses and bottles from our table. If it had been busy I can understand prioritising clearing an empty table and preparing it for the next customers but as I say, it was less than half full. We couldn't be bothered to wait for mediocre desserts so just had starter and main."

"The restaurant was really noisy , I like a buzzy place but it was another level. Starters came with pre drinks, food was average , no one came to ask if food was ok , one of our party didn’t eat theirs , the Manager did apologise and knocked food off , but of course the offer of another option had gone ."

"my pasta came and was tepid. I had asked for a halat I thought she would go back, but I started eating pasta and then discovering the waitress, so went and asked where the salate was, she said she would check. , I had a mouthful left of my pasta when she came to clean the next table, I said I am almost done! she said I will check(I'm sorry etc). she came with an undamaged salate ( pasta all gone) and I went again for dressing to ask that came through eating."
