"Found mold in our afternoon tea set. When we first noticed mold and pointed it out, they gave us an excuse (gaslit us) and said it was due to poor mixing of ingredients. When we found more mold in other food, they finally apologised and admitted to there being mold. They then kindly offered us a refund and any food or drinks on the menu but when we said we had lost our appetite and trust in the kitchen and preferred not to order anything else, and instead inquired about any other form of compensation, they started getting impatient and spoke to us condescendingly when in fact they were in the wrong to begin with. The manager said he would email us (with what I can only assume, another apology and perhaps further ideas on how to compensate for the poor experience) and I have yet to hear from him (it’s been 5 days). Overall, nice atmosphere but very poor service and food. I have never left a review but this experience is impossible not to share and to warn others about."
