"A friend had invited me to a nice dinner at Galvin Brasserie, but unfortunately, the experience did not meet our expectations. Despite its appearance as a high-end brasserie, it seemed to cater more towards families staying at the hotel than we had anticipated. The table next to us had a toddler watching loud cartoons on a phone, which disrupted the atmosphere and made it hard to have a conversation. Despite our request, the staff did not address the issue. They did not charge us for our drinks in the end, but we would have preferred a quiet meal and paid the full bill. This experience left us questioning what other disturbances we might have to endure without staff intervention. The food was also nothing remarkable and did not justify the high prices."
