"The hotel is very dog-friendly, with stunning views and a convenient location near charming towns and lovely lakes. They are also accommodating when it comes to dietary needs, and the food itself is fantastic—authentic homemade dishes. One evening, we shared a tomahawk steak (which you need to pre-order two days in advance), and the chef personally served it to us. The meals are superb and sourced locally.

As for nearby activities, Keswick is a delightful town to explore, and Derwentwater is just a 15-minute drive away. You can take a hop-on/hop-off boat ride around the picturesque lake, which lets you stop at pubs and enjoy some drinks. There are also nearby waterfalls and walking trails. The boat ride operates all day, and well-behaved dogs are welcome onboard for free."
