"I was really looking forward to my trip to Aquavit, however it was probably one of the worst experiences I 've had in a restaurant. Firstly, my drink arrived in a lowball glass which was only 1/4 full and filled with ice (I ordered a negroni so I appreciate it 's a short drink, but definitely not that short, see photo . I then ordered the meatballs with lobster thinking it was £30, however when the bill came it was £51. The lobster was £30 extra, which was not clear from the wording (i.e. 'Swedish Meatballs served with 1/2 lobster for £30 ' . The wording should have been 'served with lobster for £51 ', seeing as the lobster extra was £9 more than the meal itself. The manager refused to do anything other than remove the service charge, which was completely unfair to the waiting staff. Overall, overpriced and not worth the hype based on this really bad experience, which is a real shame as the restaurant is beautiful. I will not recommend; there are so many other great restaurants in the area, nor will I return."
