"I’ve been good for this beginning of the year, cooking more of meals at home. Yet, one week of eating salads and vegetables I was craving a darn dirty burger. After my haircut at Jones and Paynes I headed up to Bethnal Green road. Dirty Burger is part of the major league Soho House Group It may look like some scruffy old hole in the wall, but that’s the concept. Specialising in burgers three are available, a Cheese Burger, Dirty Bacon and dirty Cop-out. In the mornings you be happy to know you can get bacon egg, and sausage egg rolls with bottomless tea or coffee before 11am. Unwrapping my burger, revealed a soft cushion bun that fit into my hands perfectly. A patty with juices flowing out, and soft molten cheddar, large lettuce leaf and garnished with tomato, gherkins and special mayonnaise. It was arguably a pretty good tasting burger Opting for the Cheese Burger and crinkle cut fries, and a can of soft drink, I waited for my order. There’s limited seating and most people just pop in and out of the place. My order came in a plastic tray, a big bag of crinkle cut chips overflowing out to the tray. My burger wrapped in Dirty Burger branded greaseproof paper."

"Used offer available for buy one main get one food which made the meal good value. We went for pasta, pizza x 2 and salad and that worked well followed by sharing 3 puddings amongst the 4 of us. I will admit I have had better pizza before (the calzones are good) but overall a pleasant family experience and customer service was good."

"Heard rumours of a gem of a coffee shop in Sandgate by the sea and it did not disappoint!! The barista with glasses was like he was from Shoreditch itself!! A joke of a coffee and I mean that in a good way...I ate, chatted, and drank several cups of coffee! Must have drank too much of the black stuff as I was considering a vegan menu as a go to standard...they didn't have anything on the menu that isn't up my street...the streets of London...the streets of Sandgate...no difference...apart from the sea and fresh air and polite people. Coffee same if not better...KEEP IT UP!! I'll be back soon..."

"One of the great advantages of cities like London is that one can find speciality restaurants spread across the city representing every cuisine that the world has to offer. So when I was in a mood for some Italian after my visit to the V&A Museum, my smart-phone promptly guided me to this speciality Italian place. The restaurant was full when I went for dinner and the atmosphere was lively. I went for a classic pizza which I usually do when I try out an Italian restaurant for the first time. Because if they can't get that one right, chances are they won't be good at anything else. The pizza coming out of their oven smelled and tasted right. On par with good restaurants in Italy. "We were staying in Northumberland Avenue, and this seemed an obvious location for our evening meal, celebrating my wife 's birthday with the family, especially as we had just travelled on the Eye and could see it from our table. The setting was characterful and the service very pleasant. Things started to go wrong when two of our party received gin and tonics. These were sent back as they tasted mainly of water with little hint of gin. They were replaced with an apology and explanation that the machine wasn 't functioning properly. After that our starters and mains were generally acceptable (duck, chicken and salmon), the vegan option was appreciated by one of us, and the kids ' meals were enjoyed by our boys. However, my wife, whose special occasion it was, described her moules mariniere as the worst she had ever eaten. The waitress passed the dish over the table to my wife, saying 'be careful of the sauce ', but it was so full and runny that my wife managed to spill it on her brand new dress. She said the mussels were very small and the sauce too runny and tasteless. She made her views known to one of the waiting staff, and certainly her complaint was taken very seriously the costs of her meal and both her drinks were removed from the bill, which was appreciated. I see there are a number of other reviews mentioning low quality meals, and it is a pity that a restaurant in such an attractive location cannot serve good meals consistently."

"The manager at this restaurant did not inquire about any allergies or provide alternative menus. We were seated at a table where staff kept bumping into my chair in the dark. It took 15 minutes for someone to take our order, and it required multiple attempts to indicate our drink preference as the server was preoccupied with other tables. The starters arrived promptly, but there was excessive garlic butter. The plates were cleared 25 minutes after we finished the starters, followed by the arrival of the mains. Pepper was carelessly dumped on our table. Due to the noisy and dim environment, we ate quickly and paid using the app to expedite our departure. We will not be returning to this establishment. The team and manager could benefit from observing the staff at Meadowhall's Pizza Express."

"wow! definitely the best takeaway pizza I had in years. Although it is advertised on zomato as not taking, I can assure them that it! we have made a simple call and ordered a napoletana and a rucola e parma pizza. we said it would be ready in just 20 minutes and safe enough that we could pick it up and it had just come out of that. the staff was very friendly and we were given free garlic bread that would have £5, we would have ordered it from the menu. the pizza was very affordable at around 8 pfund each and the quality was clear from first to last. both pizzas were such an upgrade over the usual dominos or Papa-Johns! so glad to have discovered la luna. I refuse to order pizza from anywhere else!"

"I visited here for lunch last Saturday afternoon with some friends who were visiting for the weekend. They were looking to try somewhere healthy, in city centre and nice to relax in for a couple of hours, which is a harder than it sounds! A friend suggested the CCA as it serves some lovely big salad bowls. We were not disappointed, all four of us ended up ordering salads. A friend and I both had the Thai noodle salad and both loved it. Lovely fresh salad, packed with flavours and textures and coated in a delicious dressing. My friends also order the beetroot salad and the butternut squash one, which they also said were really good. The salad's are served with bread, making it a very filling meal. We had some small plates between us, sweet potato fries and soy asparagus. We spent a few hours sitting in the courtyard over lunch with a couple of drinks. It's a great space to chill out in! The only downfall was the service, when we walked in I had booked a table, being a Saturday afternoon we weren't sure how busy it would be and as we arrived two members of staff didn't know which table was ours. It was a bit of a confusing start to the meal. as we were seated we were instantly asked if we wanted drinks but needed a couple of minutes to look at the menu, we waited another 15 minutes until someone came back to take drinks orders. Not ideal but we weren't in a rush at least. In general the service was slow and distant the entire afternoon. I also tried some items on the mezzie platter while here for a Yelp Newbies night. Everything I tried that day was also really tasty! I will definitely be back to eat here, I think I would like everything on the menu! It's a great space, with a nice atmosphere and great food."

"My daughters treated me to an afternoon tea at the Dome….which we were so looking forward to…..on arriving we were shown to our seat by a pleasant young man. We were then asked what kind of scone would we like I.e. fruit or plain….which we never thought about at the time. We then got our glass of champagne which was an extra fee….NOT..champagne it was Cava…..anyway we didn’t query as we were looking forward to our afternoon tea. The cake stand looked so bare and the cakes certainly were nothing like shown on this page. I then had the sandwiches which were lovely. I then went to eat eat my scone …..but the knife couldn’t go through it as it was so hard….I then asked the waiter for another one and showed him the crumbly scone which he touched and said it was hard. He the brought another one (which took about 10 minutes to bring) we then thought they are frozen and taken out to heat before serving….that’s why we were asked what kind we wanted. They were obviously taken out by order of preference….Again same thing happened the scone crumbled as I tried to cut in half. I asked to speak to the manager who then told me they were baked that morning!!!!!no way they were brick hard. Anyway she deducted one afternoon tea of the bill, which was ok…but to be honest it wasn’t about getting a free afternoon tea it was thfact it was my birthday and my daughters were so disappointed for me. By the way they’re scones were tasteless…..so The Dome…..get decent scones that loook like scones and make your cake stand more inviting and you wouldn’t get bad feedback from customers."

"I was 15 minutes early and they seated me in a timely fashion. My date and I got a 3 course free flowing Prosecco deal and it was truly free flowing cos we had about 4 glasses each. The waiters were attentive and polite and the food was really good. The ham hock terrine was a delicious starter, I had the chicken breast maim- the chicken was tender, the sauce was delicious and the mash was whipped and buttery. I had the brownie for dessert- so good you could eat two. My date had the berry crumble- it was okay. Couldn’t find a negative thing to say about this place. We sat indoor cos it was 5/6 degrees at night time, seating is a bit tight but we sat by a window in a corner which was fine. Great view out the window. You feel the tide coming in while on the boat."

"This is my pizza delivery in Aberdeen. I absolutely love the Arugula and Mozzarella pizza and the fact that I can actually adapt it to fit my taste perfectly (Bye Bye pepper . You also have a really good crust (room for improvements: filled crust and as a pizza crust person, I have very high standards regarding the pizza crust. I also have to add that I cannot praise enough the team that was on the 14th. December 2020 worked in the evening (I'm early, I know I had a special diet requirement and they went beyond and beyond to help me really amazing (if each of the bosses read that the team deserves a bonus for being so amazing! I wouldn't practice AJs so much if they didn't deserve it and they really did it! Delicious pizza and friendly staff, best combination!"
