"I had dined at number 1 Devonshire Gardens (as it used to be called) many years ago and wanted to see whether it had maintained its quality and appeal under the ownership of Hotel du Vin. I was not disappointed! It was the first visit by my wife and she was also suitably impressed. The food, service and ambiance were all wonderful. We were tempted by the tasting menu which was outstanding and good value. The wine was also sensibly priced. The restaurant offers an experience that can't fail to impress and is perfect for romance and special occasions."
