"The food at this restaurant is excellent, and the service is timely. There is a great selection of dishes, ranging from tapas to mains. The staff is friendly, and the restaurant is conveniently located within walking distance of the main bus station. However, please note that a 10% service charge will be added to your food bill."

"The dining experience was excellent, set in a beautiful environment, and surprisingly affordable. It might be a bit too quiet for those looking for a lively atmosphere, but we really enjoyed the restaurant and our meal. It's a shame that there weren't more diners, but that was the only downside!"

"For a limited menu I expected perfection food was mediocre and service was lacking... we had to keep asking for them to top up our wine. Also noted that food was being sent back from other tables because dishes were cold (although ours was ok) Beautiful place, but not value for money overall."

"On a chilly autumn Sunday, Mamma Dough was the perfect spot to spend some time, catch up on the news, and enjoy a delicious pizza dinner. The restaurant is bright and inviting, with large windows, spacious seating, and charming decor featuring striped wood floors and exposed stone walls. A highlight of the space is the large pizza oven in the corner, where you can watch the skilled chefs prepare and cook the pizzas up close. The pizzas themselves stole the show, with a perfect balance of flavors and textures. The dough was just right - not too thick, not too thin - and the toppings were fresh and high quality. Personally, I found the pizzas at Mamma Dough to be even better than those at Franco Manca near Brixton Market, but taste is subjective. I would prefer a little less dough and more tomato sauce, as well as more generous toppings to truly elevate the experience. However, competition is always a good thing and I am excited to return for a second visit soon."

"I would not recommend this restaurant. The food was mediocre overall. While the calamari was good, the sirloin was chewy and the beef taquitos tasted like spaghetti bolognese. The music was blasting, making it hard to hold a conversation. The service was incredibly slow. On the plus side, the drinks were tasty. There are many other better dining options to choose from."

"Two of us arrived and were greeted decently. However, we were seated at an extremely small table that clearly wouldn’t have held all the plates we ordered (see photo). I had to request to move to a lounge table, which, when we got there, was still dirty. We waited around 5 minutes before someone came to clean it. On the positive side, the food arrived fairly quickly, and the staff were polite and well-mannered throughout. Unfortunately, the food itself was underwhelming. The falafels were bland and lacked any real flavour. The £9 tempura was especially disappointing—at that price, you expect something memorable, but it fell flat. The only thing I genuinely enjoyed were the tater tots... which says a lot, considering they were just a side dish. I paid £67.50 in total (including a £7.50 service charge, which I still felt the staff deserved), but I left feeling completely let down by the food and experience. Sadly, I won’t be returning.
