"I visited this morning as I have been coming for a few years the food was never on point but I wanted to give it a last chance to redeem its self. However, after ordering and waiting for 15 minutes I saw a rat running from the salad bar and into the kitchen at that moment I picked up my stuff and left immediately there was no way I was going to eat the food I ordered. I cannot believe this store is still open after what I saw today there definitely needs to be an inspection I’m going to have to report this. Definitely not worth the money I’d rather spend it somewhere more expensive if it means my food is clean and hygienic."

"Chap serving particularly rude. Entered the shop to a very unwelcoming server. Shaking his head at me after I asked him how he was. We ordered a panini and his response was “it’s going to take 10 mins” (as if he didn’t want to make it) we were fine with waiting, that not an issue to get a fresh sandwich. We also order a coffee, our request was met with further grimace. We decided to leave as our business clearly wasn’t welcome. Very odd behaviour, perhaps we caught him in a bad day. We certainly won’t be returning"

"Well what can i say about my buffet for my 30th birthday party. The food was delicious and plenty to say the least but what was different about this party is the personal touches that lisa made. Theme was a alice in wonderland mad hatters tea party and ingenious to put pickles and dips in tea cups and serve jam tarts (queen of hearts haha) on beautiful cake stands. My guests had nothing but praise for the food and said how delicious it all was. TI will defintely be recommending this ladies services to anyone wanting a personal catering experience. "My friends and I visited Olive Cafe on a leisurely Sunday morning and decided to try their vegan and vegetarian full breakfast. We were pleasantly surprised by both options. The breakfast was delicious and had a unique twist. The vegetarian option included halloumi, while the vegan option had avocado and spinach instead of vegan sausages loaded with preservatives. It was both affordable and tasty! The service was efficient and friendly. I hope they consider adding freshly pressed juice to their menu in the future. I would definitely recommend this cafe!"

"After reading all the great reviews we just had to book the afternoon tea today and the little gem certainly lives up to all the hype. A lovely treat and such a different selection of sandwiches, quiche and without a doubt, the most delicious sausage rolls I have ever eaten. Actually wanted to but some to take home, but after a busy day, they had sold out. How dare they!! Huge slice of delicious carrot and pistachio cake and large scone with strawberry jam and clotted cream 2 large pots of tea . just couldn't fault it. We brought the new tapas menu home with us as well as half the above offerings too much to eat in one go and will certainly be booking that in the future. Lovely friendly owner and relaxed atmosphere. You really must try it opposite the old bread factory on Hucknall road so you cannot miss it."
