"The food standard is Burger King standard perhaps. I went there after a concert to grab a quick burger, that's what I thought. No, not quick at all. First, the ordering machines ran out of ticket paper. Once there, you can see the food was nowhere ready. It took me nearly 30 mins for my simple burger to be delivered. Some customers were there for longer than me. I remember when this was open a few years back before lockdown, I was there seeing piles of orders stacked up with all sort of burgers in trays randomly. The screen of order numbers (I'd say close to 100, if not over) was full, as the customers in the waiting area. It clearly needs some change in management but it didn't seem to have so during lockdown. If you're desperate like me at night, the old golden arches might be a better option."

"En route to a blues concert at the Edinburgh jazz festival,I decided to drop into this establishment for a quick bite before boarding my train.I had a First bus ticket with a burger king special offer of a burger and fries for printed on...the back.After waiting mins in a long queue which the usual assortment of teenage deadheads staff obviously couldn't cope with I was informed that they did not participate in these offers.The obvious question was why?She brought me the manager.He said that they were a different company and pointed to a notice stating no participation in offers which admittedly i had missed.Still the problem remained.How are they a different company when the place is emblazoned with Burger KIng logos everywhere.Time was short now and the queue time i'd waited had already made a mockery of the phrase Fast Food So, i asked him the price of a normal cheeseburger and fries and he replied i'm really confused as i can see no point in the offer at all.Whole debacle a complete and utter waste of time.The burgers are of a poor standard anyway and in no way resemble the burgers illustrated in advertisements.I ended up with indigestion as i had to gulp the whole thing down in order to catch my train.WARNING- this eatery has absolutely no toilet facilities either.Isn't there a law about that? Result:whole experience a disaster."

"Me and daughter had an order for collection and once at the restaurant a staff member told me would be a 5 minute wait . I saw many food riders coming in the short wait I had, they looked busy and when we received the bags 3 minutes from arrival) the same man apologised, thanked me and told us a surprise was inside for the wait. We found a Golden Ticket and a lovely note. please pass on our thanks"

"I went to the restaurant at 1:30 in the morning and was disappointed with the quality of the burger I received. I jokingly told the server that I expected a patty that had been sitting in the warmer for over an hour, and unfortunately, that's exactly what I got. The burger was only lukewarm and not worth the £12 I paid for it. If I had ordered through a delivery service like Uber Eats or Just Eat, I would have requested a refund. I love Burger King, but selling me a subpar burger patty is not acceptable, regardless of the time of day. I recommend anyone ordering from this restaurant to check the temperature of their burger before leaving, as they may need to request a fresh one. The quality of the food should be consistent, whether it's 1 am or 1 pm."

"Food was nice. What totally let this place down was the staff members sloppy attitude to hygiene. No hand soap in any of their 3 toilets. Having tried all three, one of their taps were running on full, I tried to turn it off but it was too stiff. I told the front of house staff member of the lack of soap and the running tap and she told me she knew about both but looked unwilling to do anything about it. If they want more than one star from me then they need to sort out their facilities. I had to wash my hands in their kitchen area, not ideal to say the least. A family member recommended the place and felt the need to apologise following that experience. Your guests shouldn't be embarrassed about recommending your business, shame on your staff for not addressing the two very basic issues. Brighton and Hove health and hygiene team must be very sloppy for giving you 5 hygiene stars."

"Cold chili cheese bites, saltless chips and flat juice. Furthermore the machine sprayed outside of the machine soaking my partner. On top of all this 40 minutes before closing the restaurant, seating was unavailable, with a mop left in the middle of the floor. This forced us to sit outside, on the very old benches provided, which may need a clean."

"On Saturday 30th September at around 7pm we visited your restaurant at the Quayside in Glasgow. As I was placing our order the gentleman standing to the right of me unfortunately took a fit and slumped to the ground where he was, now unconscious. I proceeded to put him in the recovery position. I then asked your staff to call an ambulance and to get the first aider to come and help the man. He then proceeded to have another fit. To my utter dismay there was no-one first aid trained!! The duty manager Mark called 999 and was relaying back to me that they would not send an ambulance, so not only was I dealing with the man on the floor, I then had to take over the phone call and demand an ambulance straight away! Luckily as I explained the severity of the situation one was sent immediately. Your staff were completely out of their depth and had no clue how to handle the situation. I myself, have MS and have not been first aid trained in over 13 years. My daughter has been emotionally traumatised with what happened and is having disturbing nightmares, she is also having to sleep with me at 13 years old! She can't comprehend why her mother had to take control of the situation. I am also extremely angry that if I hadn't assisted the man the outcome could have been extremely different as your staff never even realised anything had happened. The restaurant was very quiet so there really was no excuse. Your staff were totally out of their depth and had no clue what to do. I would be very interested to know your work ethos regarding first aid training. My daughter suffers from anxiety and is completely traumatised from this and has told us point blank that she will never go into Burger King again."

However, the service inside the restaurant was slow, and there was a long wait at the drive-thru. To their credit, they handled the rush reasonably well, but it was chaotic with numerous delivery drivers arriving and quickly opening their large bags like kids at a candy store. Overall, it took about ten minutes from entering to being served, and another ten minutes to actually receive my food.""

"Visited on the 27/7/24 at 10:30pm. Ordered a chicken sharebox and was short-changed. Received only 3 chicken selects when it’s supposed to be 6, received 10 McNuggets instead of 12. Dips that I ordered are missing, but the dips that I did not order was given. Avoid if you can or check your order before you leave."

"We used the Burger King app to take advantage of some promotional offers on our food order. The food was freshly cooked and delicious, and we didn't have to wait long to receive it. The restaurant was clean, although the staff seemed a bit impatient when the children were deciding what to eat. Overall, we had a pleasant dining experience."

"I’m sitting in BK as I type. There are 6 patrons sitting in over 4 tables, and two at the counter, with one car at the drive through counter. There are loads of staff. And I mean loads of them. One chap doing a stirling job wiping down tables (tho not many to do). Heck knows what everyone else is doing as it takes a good 5 minutes for anyone to be served and at least as long for any food to appear. Staff morale seems good tho. I wouldn’t usually comment on a fast food place, but the whopper has so much mayo on it that it’s inedible. And I’m a mayo person. Bad all round to be honest. And on a very slow Sunday night there’s no excuse. Find another branch."
