"The food is excellent and the prices are fair. We tried the fish and it was delicious. They also offer smaller portion sizes, which is perfect for those on a diet who still want to indulge. Additionally, there's convenient parking nearby if you're coming from out of town."

"I had coffee with my partner and when I went to pay the nice young waitress she told me could not take the Scottish £20 note I offered. I asked why and she said she did not know as it was a management decision. I wanted to change the note so I could tip her but the management put her in the embarrassing position of refusing my money, I am not easily embarrassed but just felt sorry for her, and also denying her a tip. As a tourist this has put me off returning to this cafe in a town where I have never had my money refused before. I know loss of my business will not make a great dent in the turnover but I am in this town a few times a year and I would imagine in the current economic climate any business would want all the custom they can get."
