"I met a very old and good friend for lunch here she had recently visited Iran so wanted to be reminded of an interesting time. Having read the previous Tripadvisor reviews, we were prepared for the £10 corkage fee. I prefer white wine at...lunch, she prefers red. So we each brought a bottle and asked if we could drink half each for £10. The answer was no. So we both drank the white wine, which was fine, albeit the corkage was a bit more than the wine itself cost. We both had Jooeh and shared a Taboulah. Perfectly nice and good, but not exceptionally so. Plus an absolute mountain of rice! To finish, I was somewhat staggered by the Mint Tea, which was rather strong black tea with a couple of bits of mint in it and it cost £6.50 for one person. The staff were charming and doing their very best, but at £63 for one course plus the corkage I'm not sure it's a destination restaurant."
