"I placed an order for delivery at this restaurant tonight at 4:50. I informed them I was in Shepherds Glen and was told it would be ready in 20 minutes. After waiting 45 minutes with no food, I went down to ask about my order. I was told that the drivers had left and only mine was left, so I decided to pick it up myself. When I arrived, I had to wait while the staff seemed confused about my order, even though I had called ahead to collect it. When I finally got my food home, I realized it was cold and I had paid for delivery. This experience left me feeling very frustrated and hungry. The food itself was good when it was warm, but unfortunately, that was not often the case. I have had issues with missing items in my deliveries in the past as well. Overall, I would not recommend this place for delivery and suggest ordering over the phone and picking up your food instead. It seems like there are some communication and organization issues that need to be addressed by the management."

"I had recently moved to Finedon and we went for a family meal on a Sunday! The roast dinners are amazing!! The food was really lovely including the starters we had, I went for pate and it was great and perfect amount. We all had a large roast and honestly after couldn’t eat another thing, this was a little sad as I saw the dessert menu and going by the rest of the food I have high hopes!! We can’t wait to go back and try something different, including the desserts!!"

"Though The Cellar is in plain sight from the road, we had a little trouble finding it. We’re not used to addresses like “The Diamond,” which is just a little kind of extended semi-circle of businesses. So, we were late for our reservation, but the folks couldn’t have been nicer. I had a delicious Caesar salad for a starter; my husband had an amazing smoked salmon appetizer with herbed cheese. We then both had the prosciutto rolled monkfish and a chocolate strawberry roulade for dessert. Everything was fresh and delicious. Service was very friendly and helpful. We loved the cozy atmosphere as well. All in all, a wonderful dining experience on our first day in Northern Ireland!"

"What can I say? Being a local in Balham for 14 years now, I've seen restaurants come and go. Although The Cattle Grid started off ok and was very reasonably priced, I was totally shock to Se the price of the Ribs go up from ÂŁ14.95 one month to ÂŁ15.95 this month. These started off at ÂŁ11.95 18 months ago. Being in the trade and knowing how much there are at cost, it discusts me on how much TCG are charging. And on top of that, they're only edible from Thursday-Saturday. Maybe TCG should seriously think about this issue and rectify it! As all the locals that have spoken to me and myself included, will not be going there again! Keep your pretentions to central London and not the...read more"

"This restaurant is a gem. It is one of the few establishments that offers a diverse and multicultural menu, and every dish is executed perfectly. It is simply fantastic."

"My mum and I came here so often as the food was always amazing and the service was great. We visited today when a young girl had cooked our food. My mum wanted a soft runny egg roll, instead we got a crispy egg and...they had not even offered a refund. The lady that served us was lovely. The manager didn’t even speak to us or apologise. I know people make mistakes but for not bothering to rectify the roll that was unedable. I don’t think we will be back."

"my man and I visited for what we thought would be a nice relaxing Sunday evening dinner in our neighbourship, as we live near. but we immediately regretted the decision. the restaurant was completely empty (and we should have left after we had seen that. it was cold inside and there was hardly personal. we ordered a bottle prosecco, which took quite a long time to arrive, and were charged ÂŁ40 for a bottle canti that we suspected that they had ran and bought next to the tesco. booze is always highly marked, but at least have a brand on the hand where the customer does not know that it costs ÂŁ8 at tesco. the waitress did not even pour the prosecco; she brought the bottle and we had to pour ourselves. the appetizers were well presented and tastefully. the nets (steak and lamb and sides were very average; my lamb was barely dreaming, which meant that I had to eat it quickly, so I didn't have to eat cold lamb. ÂŁ220 for an average dinner with a bottle cheap super market prosecco (oh and ÂŁ10 for a bottle of still water! is simply absurd. we eat in michelin star high-end restaurants quite regularly that costs ÂŁ500 for two people, so this is no problem with price. I've never seen anything about food quality, environment, service, general experience. Avoid this crazy overpriced place with average life means!"

"The service at this restaurant is incredible. It is truly exceptional. The food is good as well, but it doesn't quite match the level of the service."

"Visiting a restaurant on a rainy Sunday night in January can be quite a serene experience, especially in a town center that's a bit off the beaten path. Despite having made a reservation, we were the only diners in the restaurant from 6:30 PM to 8:20 PM when we left. I haven't researched the restaurant beforehand, but it's fair to say that they seem to believe their all-day dining concept, which ranges from breakfast to dinner, is the right approach to navigate the current cost-of-living crisis. Overall, the food was good, and the staff were very friendly. I would definitely consider returning for another visit."

"I ordered a flat white, but when it arrived, half of it had spilled onto the saucer and the coffee was not very good. My friend ordered a smoothie, but it tasted strange and seemed to be made with a sweet syrup instead of fresh fruits. The ingredients were also not listed. The customer service was a bit abrupt. Overall, there are much better places in Belfast for breakfast or healthy eating."

"This is a good sized store bigger than the Greggs next door for accommodating queuing/waiting. Staff are friendly and there's usually a paper sitting out to flick through if you're waiting for hot food. There's also a small counter and seats in the window if you want to eat in. Menu options include baguettes, paninis, salads, sandwiches and baked potatoes with a wide range of toppings/fillings. There are also drinks and cakes."

"Went there for the first time owner didn’t mention that some items were off the menu until I tried to order them. The latte I ordered was luke warm but at least it tasted nice. Ran out of muffins and didn’t tell my friend until her food arrived. The avocado on my plate was served upside down and upon turning it over, I found it to be very brown. When I informed the waiter, instead of taking my dish away and discarding the rotten avocado, he served me a new peice on a small side plate. Too expensive and won’t be returning for food if afraid. What a shame as the cafe itself is lovely"

"Pleasant athmosphere, very welcoming staff.... However, food was rather basic although nicely presented on the plate. Not bad, but I will not be ordering again what I had. Service also a bit slow, given that patrons are usually coming for the performance in the evening, so they cannot wait at their leisure."

"Lovely family-owned restaurant! They offer gluten-free options, including delicious pancakes with generous servings of Nutella. I would definitely dine here again if I had more time in Belfast. Prices are very reasonable."

"There were two of us for dinner. We ordered a main and a starter as the two mains, and had specified this to the waiter. Then the starter came 10 minutes later by itself. I told the waiter and he went off to check and didn’t come back. I then had to resay it to the waiter who just went silent as they didn’t know what to do. I asked them to take it back and bring it with the main course I ordered as part of the overall meal. The starter was cold when it came with the main; I had expected a new starter would be done given the issue. The bill had then overcharged for an item. I won’t be revisiting this restaurant given the service was very poor from the three different 3 I dealt with"
