"I placed an order for delivery at this restaurant tonight at 4:50. I informed them I was in Shepherds Glen and was told it would be ready in 20 minutes. After waiting 45 minutes with no food, I went down to ask about my order. I was told that the drivers had left and only mine was left, so I decided to pick it up myself. When I arrived, I had to wait while the staff seemed confused about my order, even though I had called ahead to collect it. When I finally got my food home, I realized it was cold and I had paid for delivery. This experience left me feeling very frustrated and hungry. The food itself was good when it was warm, but unfortunately, that was not often the case. I have had issues with missing items in my deliveries in the past as well. Overall, I would not recommend this place for delivery and suggest ordering over the phone and picking up your food instead. It seems like there are some communication and organization issues that need to be addressed by the management."

"I had recently moved to Finedon and we went for a family meal on a Sunday! The roast dinners are amazing!! The food was really lovely including the starters we had, I went for pate and it was great and perfect amount. We all had a large roast and honestly after couldn’t eat another thing, this was a little sad as I saw the dessert menu and going by the rest of the food I have high hopes!! We can’t wait to go back and try something different, including the desserts!!"

"What can I say? Being a local in Balham for 14 years now, I've seen restaurants come and go. Although The Cattle Grid started off ok and was very reasonably priced, I was totally shock to Se the price of the Ribs go up from £14.95 one month to £15.95 this month. These started off at £11.95 18 months ago. Being in the trade and knowing how much there are at cost, it discusts me on how much TCG are charging. And on top of that, they're only edible from Thursday-Saturday. Maybe TCG should seriously think about this issue and rectify it! As all the locals that have spoken to me and myself included, will not be going there again! Keep your pretentions to central London and not the...read more"

"Although the cellar is in itself from the road, we had a little effort to find it. we are not used to address like “The Diamond”, which only a small type of advanced semicircle of business. So, we were late for our reservation, but the people couldn't have been nicer. I had a delicious caesar salad for an appetizer; my man had an amazing smoked salmon appetizer with crimped cheese. then we had both the prosciutto rolled monk and a chocolate strawberry routine for dessert. everything was fresh and delicious. service was very friendly and helpful. we also loved the cozy atmosphere. all in all a wonderful culinary experience on the first day in Northern Ireland!"

"This restaurant is a gem. It is one of the few establishments that offers a diverse and multicultural menu, and every dish is executed perfectly. It is simply fantastic."

"The atmosphere at this restaurant is fantastic, with a wide variety of drinks and snacks to accompany your drink. The staff were extremely friendly and went out of their way to accommodate our special requests at no additional charge."

"The single handily worst meal and eating experience I’ve ever had in my 42 years on this earth , on New Years Eve nonetheless. The issues are too countless to even write but literally from start not knowing they even had alcohol and not knowing the word vodka to the food , severe goes to the hospital allergy that we mentioned over 7 times and still came out with the allergens, to the incredibly non interested management this week place was an absolute joke. If the steak was world class I’d try to give more credit but it was on the lower third of all steaks I’ve had in my life and I had the best surf and turf option on menu. Absolute horrible experience in ever possible way."

"The service at this restaurant is incredible. It is truly exceptional. The food is good as well, but it doesn't quite match the level of the service."

"Visiting a restaurant on a rainy Sunday night in January can be quite a serene experience, especially in a town center that's a bit off the beaten path. Despite having made a reservation, we were the only diners in the restaurant from 6:30 PM to 8:20 PM when we left. I haven't researched the restaurant beforehand, but it's fair to say that they seem to believe their all-day dining concept, which ranges from breakfast to dinner, is the right approach to navigate the current cost-of-living crisis. Overall, the food was good, and the staff were very friendly. I would definitely consider returning for another visit."

"Penarth's top choice for Indian food takeout. Our household's go-to dish is the lamb biryani! The service is friendly and the food is absolutely delicious - you can't go wrong here!"

"I ordered a flat white, but when it arrived, half of it had spilled onto the saucer and the coffee was not very good. My friend ordered a smoothie, but it tasted strange and seemed to be made with a sweet syrup instead of fresh fruits. The ingredients were also not listed. The customer service was a bit abrupt. Overall, there are much better places in Belfast for breakfast or healthy eating."

"This is a good sized store bigger than the Greggs next door for accommodating queuing/waiting. Staff are friendly and there's usually a paper sitting out to flick through if you're waiting for hot food. There's also a small counter and seats in the window if you want to eat in. Menu options include baguettes, paninis, salads, sandwiches and baked potatoes with a wide range of toppings/fillings. There are also drinks and cakes."

"We 've been to On The Hoof before, but that was over a year ago. The evening menu is rich and varied and very good value. No drizzles and tiny blobs good grub, well cooked and served and very, very tasty. Sourdough and olives to nibble at and salt and pepper squid to start for me. The Chilean Merlot was off the wine list, however there was a rich, fruity and very dark Argentinian Merlot which really hit the spot. Their Polish lagers were also very good. I had a great pasta dish with tomatoes, capers, anchovies and a whole lot more really tasty and filling. Duck leg on Dauphinoise potatoes with red cabbage went down very well and the rib eye steak got the best steak in years accolade. Peppermint teas and an outstanding Espresso served in a dinky little china cup makes a change to drink Espresso from thin china cups. Efficient friendly service, meltingly good food HIGHLY RECOMMENDED."

"I've been vegan for many a year, so I ordered the chickpea burger, very small side salad and chips, as I was told it was suitable for vegans, but obviously without mayo and coleslaw, however, the restaurant kitchen didn't have a vegan roll, so no roll either and no other offerings! The price charged was the same which I consider a travesty, especially in this day and age, when so many restaurants have a separate vegan menu, including puddings. Incidentally I was with a friend whom I hadn't seen for years or I would have had a quiet word to one of the staff...I also want to reiterate the serving staff were wonderful, professional and friendly., lovely folk..Trish x ps if Duncan's Bar Bistro had a separate vegan menu, then of course, I would recommend them to friends and ratings would be higher..."

"Lovely family-owned restaurant! They offer gluten-free options, including delicious pancakes with generous servings of Nutella. I would definitely dine here again if I had more time in Belfast. Prices are very reasonable."

"Service was very good the staff were really attentive and friendly. However the food had a lot of coriander and personally I hate coriander and it wasn’t listed on the menu so it made the food quite inedible for both myself and my friend. I had the crayfish salad which was also dry and needed some sauce or flavouring. My friend had the prawns, mussels and clams in the tomato sauce which also seemed to have a lot of coriander which ultimately just ruined both our meals. Ambiance was good but I wouldn’t return"
