"What a nice experience tonight! Unfortunately I am away for work during valentines day. Oblivious until I realised that would mean me dining alone on a celebrated night for couples. AWKWARD! Put on my big girl pants and headed to the closest Pizza express (club app is awesome- lots of discounts if you are a fan) because its a easy favourite. Had a laugh with the staff regarding my table for 1 situation. Food perfect- classic pizza express quality. Service was great and attentive and everything as needed, with all requests met with happiness. Asked for a takeaway dessert as Its nice to have a sneaky treat before bed.... but mid snack I realised this was the note the server gave me..... how lovely. We had a giggle on my awkward dining experience, we talked about how being women it's always difficult being out dining alone. But this blew me away! So Niesa (hope this is the right name) thank you for supporting the lady on table 27 at approx 8pm. You are wonderful, thoughtful and a great champion of the pizza express brand! Hope they reward you well for the exceptional service. Happy valentines day!"

"The lady that served us (jasmine)was very attentive and helpful and helped with our special requests and dealt with our send backs well was just let down by the so called chef. The food was not up to the usual standard that we have enjoyed here before , Both pizzas we ordered was undercooked with dough undercooked and the “crispy “ base far from crispy I hate to ever mention or play this card but I’ve been a chef for 19 years and a head chef for many of those and in places that have served pizzas but i know it just wasn’t right both times at all food wise the nearly £7 dough balls were just microwaved with some cheese on , calamari was under fried pizzas as I said were undercooked and my sons cesar salad was just bulked up with bruised roquet. Not to get to much change from £100 for 3 of us (did have some overpriced drinks) you expect it to be much better , again jasmine was great and seemed to just accept that a complaint was coming as another table complained it shouldn’t be like that we need to make sure the foh staff are not in the firing line with issues that are not there fault that’s why I didn’t complain as much as I possibly should of. Sorry for the rant"

"Had lunch there after visiting the aquarium with the family. It was very nice lunch. Our waitress was so nice. She was smiling all the time we were there. She made the lunch even more special. My daughter and my mom had the La Reine Pizza, my sister had the Nduja Calzone and this one is very spicy with a lot of jalapeños inside. I had the leggera gamberreti. That was quite nice to have half pizza half salad. Service was great. Food was also nice but the Nduja was too spicy. Will surely come back again when I return to Scotland"
