"It hurts me to have to leave such a negative review for one of the oldest Indian restaurants in Gloucester but I’m afraid the delivery service is just nowhere near acceptable. This is not only mine but the views of others who have fed back to me recently. We ordered at Around 6.00 pm and were given a 7.10 delivery time not great but willing to accept it given the quality of the food. 7.30 came along and nothing. Rang to chase up to be told that it was on its way. Finally arrived at 8.00 Barely warm!! Couldn’t blame the delivery guy who was polite but clearly embarrassed.Food was fine after we warmed it up but I’m afraid that the delay was simply unacceptable.Its the end of a 20 year plus era for me as I’m afraid I’ll never return to the connoisseur. So sad!!!"

"A vibrant restaurant with an interesting menu. There are a number of dishes not seen in other Bangladeshi restaurants and well worth a try. Although the restaurant was very busy on a Friday evening, the service was attentive and friendly. We will definitely visit again."
