"beautiful pub in beautiful village, great location. drink a short walk at the weekend. for 12, so pub was empty, but stylish decor pleasant staff. great outdoor area, with children's playgrounds and plenty of table space. had seen or eaten rooms, but had a good mood over it and would return when in york again."
