"Terrible service. And I mean terrible. The epitome of bad service, our waitress for the evening opened by saying she was going to look after us, but then did anything else but. Plates dumped on end of table like a school canteen, not enough serviettes, cork left in prossecco for us to open, cutlery repeatedly not replaced (had to help ourselves for spoons for pudding from the cutlery station), first drink took 20 minutes because we 're busy but they weren 't, plates taken while others were still eating, the bar was totally unattended at one point. Overpriced drinks too, a large glass of wine £13.75 which is just insane and the bar man served me the most expensive glass without asking what I wanted. The first bottle of red I ordered £25 was 10.5% and was like vinegar, the second montepulciano was much better but cost £36. The food portions were tiny too, and not good value. About five cubes of pork on a hanging kebab is not good enough. They even had the cheek to put on a service charge of £40 after all this. Seemed like a bunch of kids serving all night and no manager present. It showed. Bad service and poor attitude to customer experience. Very disappointing."

"Sadly a disappointing experience. Service was extremely slow considering the area of the restaurant we were seated was maybe half full at most, so not a fully booked and busy evening. Took a long time for the waitress to take any orders, and food and drinks took even longer to arrive. Drink was delivered to the table with a hair in it. Took 10-15 minutes to get a replacement. We got seated right at the back away from any atmosphere, all we could hear was the kitchen repeatedly shouting for waitresses to take out orders. Table next to us was empty, and so the waitress kept using it as a place to stack up tons of dirty dishes rather than take back to the kitchen. Was here for a birthday, offered a celebratory dessert, it took 20+mins to arrive, and didn't come with a spoon which took asking another 2 waitresses for before it could be eaten. Bill was wrong and included food we hadn't ordered. Asked for that to be removed. Some food was delivered to the table cold, such as the fries. Didn’t ask for a replacement as we knew the rest of the meal would have been eaten before they’d been replaced given service so far. Service was poor and so we asked the automatic gratuity to be removed as we did not believe a £25-£30 additional payment reflected the experience we had. This was removed, but after this the waitress became extremely rude/cold towards us, throwing down our receipt and making us feel uncomfortable so we left promptly rather than go to the bar area for a further drink as planned. Wouldn’t recommend at all. A shame really as the person celebrating their birthday spent most of the journey home saying how disappointed they were in the experience. Wish I’d checked reviews earlier, as those posted most recently (on Design My Night) also echoed a similar sentiment of poor/slow service, and overpriced and underwhelming food."
