"Out first visit to Swinfell for a valentines taster meal and absolutely loved it! Cosy, candlelit, roaring log fires with just enough tables set out for privacy the venue with its calm atmosphere, low background music and discreet but informative and friendly staff was ideal...for our Valentines meal The set taster meal itself was imaginative and each dish was delicious and well thought out to compliment the others so well done to the chefs! The Cep Foam, pickled shimeji with truffle was so good I pinched my husbands and could have eaten just that and been happy , the sweet and sour heritage tomatoes and the turbot with caviar gorgeous and the champagne rose and lychee sorbet refreshing The millionaires shortbread with toasted marshmallow ice cream and the hand made chocolate bon bons with coffee an excellent end to an excellent meal I couldn't have been happier with my valentines meal at Swinfell, fantastic value too for the quality of food and I can't wait until we can attend their next event!"
