"What a find in the back streets of London. This is a really good traditional fish and Chip restaurant (also takeaway's). Not pretentious just good food well cooked, portions are very generous, quality of the fish is first rate. A real gem. This is also...the place where one of the Jack the Ripper victims was found and the famous Jew's message written on a wall which was removed by the police before evidence was gained. Anyhow also interesting to see groups walking on organised Jack the Ripper walks stopping to look at the now Fish and Chip shop. I believe this is also the headquarters of the Ripper Ologists in an upstairs offi ce. The walls of the shop are decorated with Ripper pictures etc, etc Our waitress was extremely friendly and oh so helpful, thank you Top Tip: a bowl of mushy peas is plenty for two to share All very cool"
