"We found ourselves in Guildford at the end of our mini-break and needed dinner. We wandered down Jeffries Passage and found Raviz. What a GEM of a restaurant. Honestly, the most gorgeous curries and Indian food we've ever had. Not bog-standard British versions of curries we've all eaten so many times over the years, but intricate, thoughtful flavours, absolute treat for the senses, so very delicious; with lots of lovely complimentary touches like the palette cleanser that came pre-dessert. Plus, we loved the decor front of house, so many lovely touches. If there was a tweak needed behind the scenes, perhaps the toilets needed a bit of an upgrade, and we did end up waiting longer than we thought for dessert (only because we needed to get back on the road home , but the food was divine and the staff so lovely.
