"Came a few years ago and had a faultless meal. However, the portions have got smaller and the taste was quite bland on our mains. Also, the chicken in blackbean sauce has changed which was a favourite last time and no longer tastes like a chicken and blackbean sauce should. They also coat the chicken for it in a batter and it totally ruins the dish. I would only come back for the smaller plates and dim sum. Was also shocked that thay can charge £45 for a beef stir fry and the portion was pathetic. It's shocking."

"First and foremost, the service in this place is impeccable, made me and my partner feel like the most important people in the world. And the food matched the service, 10 out of 10 amazing, refined and delicious whilst still being brilliantly Brittish. We sat in there allafternoon enjoying the amazing food/service/vibe watching the cold n windy seascape and beach front, a very memorable meal. Highly recommend"

"My partner and I walked a total of four miles to eat at La Plata Steakhouse, and it was worth the trip. We were warmly greeted on arrival by Joe, who was friendly, personable and obviously knows his steaks. The Sirloin steaks that we both had were very tasty and cooked to perfection and the accompanying sides were very good as well.The steaks were some of the best steaks we have eaten in the UK. We will definitely eat here again next time we are in the area. Thanks for looking after us so well Joe."

"The food at this restaurant was amazing, however, we felt ignored during our visit. Despite it being Valentine's Day, the staff appeared to be under a lot of pressure and were not very friendly. We had to keep reminding them to take our order, bring our drinks, and give us the bill. Also, the lighting and decor seemed a little outdated. Nevertheless, the food was incredibly tasty! We will definitely be choosing this as our new favorite spot for takeout."

"Sadly we didn't have a good experience. We were seated by the door so it was draughty and disruptive with people in and out and waiting to be seated,. We ordered olives, taramasalata and bread sticks and then a main course and we had only just received the olives etc when a young waiter plonked down our main courses leaving us with little option but to abandon the other food and eat that. Nobody came to ask if we enjoyed our main course either. So we paid the bill and left."

"A restaurant that I kept passing by and feeling awfully guilty for not trying as I live very close to it. Decided to try this place of us) we had no idea what to have so asked the Lady who served us. She was honest and very helpful. Advised us to only try the Veggie Combo Special the Combo Special (meat). We were a little shocked that that's all she advised us and said it was enough. We had to wait a while for the food to get to us. When it did it really blew us away! The taste, the mixture if veggies used, meat beautifully prepared and a taste that was unforgettable. "Koi Sushi Garden, aka the place where my taste buds go to party! I ordered the sushi platter with edamame, and let me tell you, it was like a symphony of flavors dancing in my mouth. The sushi was so fresh, I swear I saw it doing yoga earlier that day. And the edamame? Don't even get me started. It was like they plucked each little bean from the garden of the gods themselves. The only downside was that I couldn't stop eating I mean, how do they expect me to have self control when they're serving up sushi rolls that make me want to propose marriage on the spot? The staff were super friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was chill and laid back. If you're a sushi lover, do yourself a favor and check out Koi Sushi Garden. Just make sure you bring an appetite and maybe some chopstick skills those little rolls can be tricky"
