"Took several booking attempts to secure a slot as not keen on taking voucher and there seemed to be some issue with the older Groupon voucher, which the staff did explain when we arrived. The whole voucher set up is just unprofessionally managed. Food was nice for the price and would be happy to return. Interior is very basic but food does make up for this. Some nice options on the menu and will try some more in the future. Portions are small but not laced with thickeners etc which is most welcome Happy to recommend"

"The food at this restaurant is undeniably exceptional, but unfortunately, the service does not meet the same standard. The table service was lacking in attentiveness, as the staff only addressed individual requests for extra drinks and not everyone at the table. Additionally, one of the main courses was overlooked, and when we brought it to their attention, they seemed to find it amusing rather than taking it seriously. It appears that they may have become too comfortable with their reputation."

"Tonight I orderedtandoori king prawn, chicken tikka biriani peshwari nan as a home delivery meal. Checked the prices on their website it was £22.95 (with free delivery as it was over £15). They said it was £33.95 when it arrived!!! Upon querying it the guy said it wasn’t the same as on their website anymore. Ridiculous price, and not worth it so I will not be going there or ordering in any more takeaways, despite having been a loyal customer for years. It is now totally overpriced they can’t even acknowledge the fact that their own website is advertising a completely different set of prices! How do they get away with this? Trading standards???"

"A strange experience. On reviewing the menu, I was excited to try the food as the meals are not your normal curries. Unfortunately the experience was a bit mixed. When ordering the waiter suggested we be careful as we’d ordered a lot of food, which I thought was good service. But we’d ordered a pickle tray with x6 popadoms. When it arrived the tray was tiny and only just suitable for 1 person. So we ordered x2 more but even those portions weren’t great as you only had enough lime pickle for one mouth full. For starters my friends shared a meat platter, which was great value. I’d ordered the fried fish and it wasn’t great (Borderline burnt). Main courses were mixed again. My Chicken Thali was ok, but my friend ordered a chicken dish the waiter said was like a madras that tasted like chicken and Bisto gravy. All in all it was slightly disappointing for what it cost. There’s potential and one dish was amazing. But we could have just ordered the wrong ones. I’d go to Akbars over the road."

"authentic south indian kerala eating, I can confirm because I was very clean and tidy from kerala (südliche indien,) to avoid. very friendly people. eating is really good, especially those who love spicy food. they could ask, they give them authentic food. there are many not veg and vegetarian food. Recently they have refurbished the place, looks great, so I post a few pictures with my review. these who are looking for the South Indian keerala are the place for them!"

"This is a weird one. Firstly, they were about half an hour late. I managed. When it got here, I was quite pleased. It was genuinely quite nice. About half way through I realised it was the wrong curry which I had received. I don't...know how I hadn't already noticed this, I ordered Vindaloo and got Masala. After that, I realised that my pakora was missing. So I called them, no expectation of them sending someone out but they did. When they returned they had also brought my Vindaloo, asking for the Masala that they had sent to be returned. I informed the driver that I had already eaten it, as I had informed another member of staff on the phone. About minutes later they called again, shouting at me down the phone and threatening me. All in all the food was decent, currently waiting for them to return to collect the replacement Vindaloo. The reason I'm writing this review is to make others aware of their potential behaviour, as I wouldn't want someone who is potentially more vulnerable to be intimidated getting threatened. My overall advice is to avoid, being threatened for chicken pakora is not worth it."
