Just a word of warning for those who see their vouchers on groupon..don't buy them as even though they're still selling them they won't accept them, nor let you in beyond the locked door. "Visited Le Raj about two weeks ago and was beyond my expectations. On arrival we sat in the lounge drinking beer and Prosecco while waiting on another guest. There was a perfect ambience and the staff were very welcoming and friendly too. The main restaurant was set out really beautifully and the lighting was great. Service continued to be exceptional as we had starters and then mains which were the perfect portion and tasted amazing. When we finished up, we got some cocktails which tasted better then actual cocktail bars. Best pina colada I’ve ever had! Will be returning for birthdays and celebrations again in future!"

"I have used this curry house for over a year has always been nice the last 2 times I have ordered it wasn’t great lacked flavour but I gave them the benefit of the doubt as I have never had a problem before and decided to give then one last try. Ordered a takeaway this evening, I would say it was the worst takeaway I have ever had, this is the first time I have ever wrote a review! Waited over an hour for the curry and it turned up stone cold, rang them they said there would be a new one coming in 15 mins, they exchanged the cold one for the new one and its was even more cold than the first !! The chicken tikka masala was freezing no flavour and was soo watery the water was swimming round my plate and the chicken so dry and chewy. I threw it all away. Would never ever in a million years order from this place again."

"We had been wanting to try out this restaurant for some time, and finally made it there recently. The restaurant building and decor appear a bit worn out, but the food was truly authentic and delicious. The dishes were not overly spicy, but you could definitely taste the curry flavors. We started with appetizers and had a main course of chicken thali and a mutton dish with chapatti, which were all delightful and flavorful. The meat was cooked perfectly and the spices were distinct, creating a rich and aromatic experience. The service was a bit slow for a city center restaurant, but we enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. Overall, it was a great dining experience and we will definitely be returning."

"authentic south indian kerala eating, I can confirm because I was very clean and tidy from kerala (südliche indien,) to avoid. very friendly people. eating is really good, especially those who love spicy food. they could ask, they give them authentic food. there are many not veg and vegetarian food. Recently they have refurbished the place, looks great, so I post a few pictures with my review. these who are looking for the South Indian keerala are the place for them!"

"This is a weird one. Firstly, they were about half an hour late. I managed. When it got here, I was quite pleased. It was genuinely quite nice. About half way through I realised it was the wrong curry which I had received. I don't...know how I hadn't already noticed this, I ordered Vindaloo and got Masala. After that, I realised that my pakora was missing. So I called them, no expectation of them sending someone out but they did. When they returned they had also brought my Vindaloo, asking for the Masala that they had sent to be returned. I informed the driver that I had already eaten it, as I had informed another member of staff on the phone. About minutes later they called again, shouting at me down the phone and threatening me. All in all the food was decent, currently waiting for them to return to collect the replacement Vindaloo. The reason I'm writing this review is to make others aware of their potential behaviour, as I wouldn't want someone who is potentially more vulnerable to be intimidated getting threatened. My overall advice is to avoid, being threatened for chicken pakora is not worth it."
