"I am not one usually inclined to write reviews, but I felt I had to do so after the great experience I recently had when I came to the Hen and Chicken with some friends for food and drinks. The pub itself has a great buzz/atmosphere where the staff were very friendly and attentive. I find a lot of pubs nowadays lack this, but the Hen and Chicken certainly doesn’t! We all really liked the selection of local beers that were available at the bar. I would recommend the “Wanna Go To The Sun” pale ale. The food menu offered a good variety of dishes, I ordered the squid, a margarita pizza from the dedicated pizza oven and loaded pulled pork fries. Everything ordered was made to a high standard, which were all delicious! I would certainly recommend a visit!"
