"we always liked browns and were this time in birmingham. I love the atmosphere and the service was great, but eating. it's just a little disappointing. our friends had the steak pie. Now this was always a guaranteed winner, but not only this time (before in oxford), where the meat was replaced by fat dumps. the pork belly was just a piece of fat with a teeny tiny piece of knistering. had it sent back, but we were friends and out to see such a limited show in time. on the bright side my sea bream was excellent; nicely cooked and delicious. and the birthday dessert wishes were a nice note. so they come to browns time to return to their former glory"
