"I have been eating at Nobu since the first establishment opened in London over 20 years ago. We thought we would try the Shoreditch one . Food was as expected for the most part very good. What spoiled the experience was the constant hovering of the staff. Clearly form the moment we arrived they were on a mission to move us on. We understand the 2hr table policy but there is no need to hound customers to the point of whisking dishes away , whilst one party is eating,"

"Rarely do I leave reviews however, I felt insulted and compelled to share my experience. I arrive to the restaurant at 19:15 and the waitress took our order 5 mins later. Eaten here before we ordered our cold dishes first and held back the menu for the hot food as the last time we ate here all the food came out at the same time and there was no room on the table! We orders some sashimi which arrived 5-10 mins later. After eating the sashimi we waited for the “Tokyo Lights”. And waited…………. After repeating asking the waitress she explained that she was going down to the kitchen to find out what’s happening. She done this twice. And we waited. Eventually at 21:00 the dish arrived. Being late to see some friends we decided to not order the hot dishes. I asked for the bill. When it arrived there was no apology for the wait? I asked if the lengthy wait would be discounted and she ran off to ask the “manager”. She came back with a £10 discount? The dish should have been comped I paid but vowing to never return. Customer service in the uk is appalling and if this happened in the US the outcome would have been so different. As a UK citizen I’m embarrassed of you all."
