"Stay well away!. I went to El Toro in a group of people. After a minute wait, our food started to come out. Which would normally be fine, if everyones food came out at the same time, instead of over a period of an hour and a half. I approached a member of staff to ask why our food had taken so long. My question was met with a very aggressive Cant you see how busy we are?! What do you want from me (The place was less than half full) After everyone had finished their food I once again attempted to talk to a member of staff about our very long wait. This time I got the manager, who greeted me with: This table is a waste of my time. None of you have ordered Steak I've never been spoken to like that before in my life by a restaurant owner. Average food. Atrocious service. Stay well away."

"I really do love Block and I always recommend it to friends. I’ve been coming there for years now for drinks and dinners, but I really wouldn’t recommend going there for “bottomless” brunch. There is no service whatsoever, as there is one member of staff serving quite a lot of people (about 15-20 customers I think). You have to go to the bar and wait quite a while for your mediocre refills (our mimosas were about 4/5 juice and 1/5 prosecco, they weren’t very fizzy). I also didn’t like my food, was very disappointed (no one ever came to ask if everything was okay either). As much as I love block, really this time I was very disappointed. Almost forgot to mention the undrinkable coffee. Tastes like re-used coffee grounds, do not order coffee there!"
