"Avoid this restaurant if you have a gluten allergy. My partner and I came here for breakfast this morning after seeing online that they have many gluten free options. I informed the server of my allergy and asked about gluten free options. The server with red hair was helpful and explained the gluten free choices. We both ordered the full breakfast, one gluten free and one regular. However, when our meals arrived, they looked identical. My gluten free meal included items like haggis, black pudding, and potato scone, which typically contain gluten. When I asked the server to double check the gluten content, he removed the potato scone with his hands and assured me it was now safe to eat. I insisted on knowing if the haggis and black pudding were gluten free as well, and asked for a new plate. Despite my concerns, the server only removed the scone and insisted that the rest of the meal was safe. Feeling unsafe, I decided to cancel my order and left. My partner enjoyed his regular breakfast, but I will not be returning due to the lack of understanding and care for my gluten allergy."
