"I made a reservation to watch the England game and was seated at a fantastic table right in front of the screen. The food was outstanding, surpassing the quality of other Indian restaurants in the area that I have visited. Despite the pub being crowded, our server Theresa provided excellent service, even managing a few noisy tables. I highly recommend this establishment."

"I am always hopful when trying a new place but this was a let down. The waiter didn't seem to know what was on the menu, or what is job was, and it was a major mission just to place our order. The noisy turbine extractor fan in the dining room sparked to life when smoke from the kitchen filled the room, doors were opened to help manage the smoke, it was not nice. The food was okay, the value was okay with the toptable deal, but without the deal forget it. The washroom experience was unplesant to say the least. Air freshener lined the wall. Chicken was defrosting unattended in a downstairs kitchen sink. Sorry but never again"

"Food Poisoning! Beware! After enjoying a meal with some friends, we all wound up with a wicked case of food poisoning the following day. While the food was tasty, it's not worth it! I followed up with the management who was unhelpful and indifferent. Poor customer service. There are so many great restaurants in Tooting- avoid this one!"

"We went as a group of 6 to celebrate special birthday. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was delicious and the place was clean but the noise level was awful . We couldn’t really talk to each other and as we were seated near the door , it got very cold as people kept going out to smoke and back in leaving the door open . It was awful as every 5 minutes a group would go out for smoke . I would definitely recommend the food"

"Dinner for 2. Return visit as I had been previously during the Eat out promotion with a friend and food had been excellent. Food was still very good although we thought the mixed vegetable platter starter was a bit greasy. Staff were very good and we had a nice evening. We would still recommend as there are some nice choices of the menu that differ from our usual Indian."

"What an absolute find! We happened on this restaurant while visiting Chelsea. TPH is an elegant restaurant featuring a wonderful balance of mainstream dishes with a sophisticated twist. A perfect example is the samosa appetizer. Light and fluffy on the inside and delicately crisp on the outside. This would have been great on it’s on own but was served with a chickpea stew combining a wonderful blend of herbs and spices that made it one of the best things I’ve eaten in quite some time. The menu features rich, textured curries, perfectly tender meats, fresh seafood and veggie dishes served by a gracious husband and wife team who truly care about your dining experience. All this and not while not putting a big dent in your pocketbook. We will definitely be back."

"Food was really good but the delivery driver ruined the experience as he was really disrespectful and aggressive. I live in a house share and because someone else opened the door and said they didn’t order anything he called me shouting, accusing me of lying about my address. "We were a large group, who had booked weeks in advance. The food was good, but the service was incredibly slow. It took an hour to receive our starters after ordering, and another hour and a half after ordering mains (why weren't both orders taken at the same time? to receive our mains. It was a Saturday early evening. Our party arrived at 1730 and left at 2115. Way too long to wait as we had somewhere else to go to afterwards. We felt that the staff were just trying to encourage us to buy more drinks whilst we waited. Nothing wrong with attentive staff, but nearly 4 hours to finish our meal was unacceptable. The restaurant was not very busy, and to see other tables eat and leave before us was frustrating. The food was good, staff polite and friendly, but the experience let down by the slow service. First time Id been there and I will not return or recommend."

"This was my first time visiting this restaurant, but it definitely won't be my last. A friend recommended it to me and I had an excellent dining experience. The food was delicious, with a wide selection on the menu to choose from. The drinks list was impressive, the decor was beautiful, and the staff were attentive. The restaurant manager was very pleasant, and as we were celebrating my friend's belated birthday, he surprised us with a complimentary glass of prosecco and a cake with a sparkler - a really nice touch. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant and absolutely loved it."

"I absolutely love this place. The owner and the staff are friendly, just the kind of warmth you'd expect at an authentic Indian and Nepalese restaurant. I used to frequently visit Balti Curries even when I was a student at Falmouth University. They have a wide variety of dishes. I had the onion bhajees, momo, and the lamb tikka biryani. "This small, cozy, hidden gem is one of the best dining experiences we have ever had. From the moment we walked in, everything was exceptional. The customer service was excellent, and the staff were knowledgeable. From starters to main courses, everything was perfect. As a food enthusiast who has tried butter chicken from all around the world, I must say that their specialty butter chicken ranks in the top 3 on my list. The food was incredible and reasonably priced. The only small suggestion would be to have slightly faster service, but the quality of the food made the wait worth it. "Not the best experience. No parking to start with. Inconsiderate drivers. Service was overly keen. Kept interrupting our conversation various times asking is everything okay constantly throughout the experience. Manager offered as we walked in some water and poppadoms in a complimentary way. Later to find out he charged us a ridiculous price. Food was very overpriced for the quality. The variety was very limit and the staff didn’t now about the menu when asked questions. The manager was sneaky and added service charge also without asking us or telling. Place is small. Go owl and pussycat if you want good Indian food at a fraction of the price. I wouldn’t recommend unless you into a show room restaurant rather the quality and service. Thumbs down for me over hyped."

"Six of us gathered for a birthday tea at lunchtime! Although it wasn't available at the traditional tea time, that didn’t matter to us; we dug in at noon. A stunning tiered stand was brought to our table, featuring savory delights on the bottom and sweet treats on top. We enjoyed samosas, caramelized spicy chicken wings, pieces of buttermilk chicken, a serving of paneer curry, and chicken tikka wraps, among other delicious items, all perfectly spiced. As for the top layer, there was an incredibly moist orange and chocolate cake, meringue topped with whipped cream and mango, a mango lassi, and a sugary syrup-drenched doughnut whose name escapes me, along with a couple of other sweet treats. We all had a fantastic time and would return in a heartbeat!"

"This Indian restaurant is always fantastic and one of my favorites in the area. The staff is very friendly and attentive, ensuring that your glass is never empty for long. I had the deluxe platter with a wide variety of chicken and lamb dishes, accompanied by a generous portion of rice. This is perfect for those who like to try different curries or have trouble deciding on a dish. The chicken curry was beautifully flavored and the meat was very tender. We prefer our food on the spicy side, and the staff was happy to accommodate our request for extra chili. The naan bread was always served hot and soft, with just the right amount of butter. The portions are generous and I appreciate how knowledgeable and patient the waiters are in helping me navigate the menu. We have dined here with family, friends, as a couple, and even hosted a private banquet and birthday party in the side area without any issues. The prices are average and on par with similar restaurants. The thali we ordered was one of the more expensive items at around £17, but the selection was well worth it. We even had leftovers to take home the next day. Overall, the dining experience is consistently excellent here."
