"The food and service were both excellent, as they have been on all of our three visits to the Dairy. The chestnut and wild mushroom pasta was particularly memorable Sadly, on this occasion, our evening was slightly marred by a group of loud and drunk men at the next table who had apparently come in for drinks, having been thrown out of a nearby pub. I might suggest that the Dairy changes its policy on taking walk-ins for drinks only Our evening would have been further improved by the addition of a spring closer to the door as at least half of the patrons coming and going did not close the door behind them. This, combined with the cold, the wind, and our proximity to the door, left us wishing that we had worn warmer clothes to dinner!"
