"Often ventured here before the reopening (pre-2018) and enjoyed it for it 's old man pub vibes and the novelty of being able to get a seat in Soho. Since the reopening it felt like it lost a lot of that previous charm (and beers) but in the ever-evolving realm of Soho it 's clear to see their reason for doing so. Now a snazzy cocktail bar (and they do make a good old fashioned) the decor is much nicer, but that in turn meant it became extremely busy and difficult to even get into the place! 'Character ' is an opinion but I feel like it lost a lot of it when the reopening happened, especially with multiple cocktail bars down the same stretch"
