"I was recommended to try the Stanwix fish and chip shop, which was supposed to be nearby, but when I arrived it was closed. On my way back to the hotel, I found The Friary and it turned out to be a great find. I ordered a small cod and chips, but the portion size was quite generous. The staff were all friendly and helpful, and the shop itself was clean and bright. The quality of the food was very good. Overall, a fantastic fish and chip shop."
