"The staff, the food, the atmosphere off the beaten track. All of it really, we booked to go on the night we arrived in London for 3 nights. Staying at the Malmaison Hotel on Charterhouse Square this was one of the local restaurants with good reviews. My partner had fillet, cooked medium both times and both times it was excellent. Our daughter had monkfish with risotto both times as she loved it so much, I had half lobster the first night and Cornish crab fish cakes the second night, both dishes were excellent. They have a very good wine list, we all enjoyed that too. Plus both evenings were rounded off with a place of warm Madeleine's just a perfect size for something sweet to top off a great experience. Dont be put off by the reviews saying this place is tired, it absolutely is not, it is brilliant. Try it!"
