"I was on Sunday in a floorless brunch for my nieces. I ordered vegan nachos and a vegan burrito bowl. the nachos were ok nothing that was amazing, but was nice, at least vegan cheese on them for once. the burrito bowl was jackfruit, roasted beans, rice, avocado and some salat. the jackfruit was cut into pieces and tasted in the ground like a sweet whisper that certainly wasn't what I had expected for my hearty pornstar! it was beyond terrible and I am not even this fussy! I think they need to rethink the vegan menu, as I am really glad that they offer vegan options, but it actually needs to taste beautiful!"

"the first time here. a lot of choice and much more interesting than the usual tex-mex offers. we shared appetizers, among them also really tasty pork bell-skewers with an ananas salsa (anticuchos) and a cheese fondue with crispy carrot cubes. the salat (fiesta ensalada) was a large mix of sweet, pickle and seeds. my main blazin bird huh was really well boiled (think nandos but better) and the sweet kartoffel fries were excellent. my flaming hot Habanero sauce was 't spicy enough for me, but I eat vindaloo and really love spicy food. "The food at this restaurant was excellent, but it seems like the menu has shrunk since my last visit. The staff, service, and atmosphere were all fantastic. However, it can be quite expensive, especially the drinks. Overall, it's a nice place to dine but be prepared to spend between £30-40 per person for dinner."

"Saturday 14th May at 4.30pm, the security told me that I wasn’t allowed in because I was by myself? I’m sorry? Since when has that been an acceptable excuse to refuse service? Dress wear was jeans and a polo, I was visiting York having driven...so no alcohol at all was consumed I just thought I’d stop in for some food but apparently it’s not acceptable to be alone? Absolutely pathetic. I will do my best in the future to “not be alone” good thing there are a 100 other places that don’t discriminate. Who knows, maybe it was because he didn’t like the look of my skin colour. We’ll see what the rest of social media has to say about it."

"I have been to Las Iguanas three times, and have been happy with the food each time. There are three choices for vegans but I have had the Bahia Moqueca each time. The quality has varied from excellent to decent but is still a good choice for a vegetarian or vegan group. I have heard good things about the fajitas from my friends as well. The tables are spaced quite far apart so you don't need to worry about being right next to someone eating a steak, but it is quite busy and noisy on some evenings so bear that in mind. I think it would be a lovely place to eat in the summer, with the tables in the plaza at the front. The one thing that would make this place better is a vegan dessert choice on the menu, I have contacted them to ask if this is possible and they are looking into it..."

"when I heard that this place has vegan options, I did not expect too much my experience with Latin American restaurants in my own country is not so great when it comes to vegan food. but I was wrong. not only that they have a separate vegetarian and vegan menu that eat is simply great and I regret only that I could not try all their vegan options. my favorites were the vegan version of their three mushroom fajita and the tembleque kokospudding. yes, and the personal was very friendly and helpful. las iguanas became my favorite restaurant during my stay in milton keynes."
